The kind of work that gets done
Kitchens, bathrooms, floors, tile, paint, drywall and the outside of the house. Every job here is the sort of thing Jose takes on — look through and find the one closest to what you need.

Kitchen
Kitchen gut and rebuild
Took the kitchen down to the studs — removed the old cabinets, countertops and soffit, then reframed and closed the walls back up. New cabinets and countertops went in, with a subway tile backsplash, new lighting and outlet locations, and the flooring patched and finished into the dining area.

Bathroom
Hall bathroom remodel
Gutted the hall bath and rebuilt it — new tub and surround, subway tile on the shower walls, and a black-and-white patterned tile floor. Set a new vanity with a wood base and white top, replaced the toilet and all the fixtures, and ran a new exhaust fan out through the wall.

Flooring
Whole-floor hardwood install
Pulled the old flooring out of the main floor and checked the subfloor for level and squeaks before anything went down. Installed oak hardwood through the rooms and hall, ran the boards in line from room to room so the seams lined up, then put the trim and thresholds back and finished the wood.

Exterior renovation
Rowhouse porch rebuild
Rebuilt the front porch on this brick rowhouse — tore out the rotted decking and railing, repaired the framing underneath, and replaced the posts and rails with new wood. Everything got primed and painted, and the steps and walkway were cleaned up and reset.

Tile
Walk-in shower and tile
Converted the tub area into a walk-in shower — new pan and drain, backer board and waterproofing, then grey rectangular tile on the walls and floor. Finished it with matte black fixtures and a glass panel, and set the tile floor with a linear drain so it all pitches the right way.

Painting
Interior repaint and accent wall
Repainted the whole living area and put a charcoal accent wall on one end of the room. Patched and sanded the walls first, cut in the ceilings and trim clean, and rolled two coats so the color is even across the wall.

Interior renovation
Basement finish-out
Framed out the basement and closed it in with drywall — new partition walls, patched and finished, and ceilings and trim painted. Laid wood plank flooring over the slab and finished the stair area so the whole level ties into the house.

Drywall repair
Ceiling and wall drywall repair
Repaired water damage in the ceiling and a cracked wall corner — cut the bad board out, patched it in, and taped and coated the joints. Feathered the edges out wide, sanded it flat, and primed the patches so the paint matches the rest of the room.
